A colourful wedding, with smiles from ear to ear from beginning to end, House for an Art Lover is a venue with so much to offer. Our day started as they often do, Laura was at her family home, surrounded by all of her favourite people, we laughed about all of the marathons this lady ran in the last year and how she still had two to do. When the dress was revealed, there were tears of joy from everyone, including myself. The car soon arrived and we all made our way to the beautiful church where the ceremony took place. It was a wonderfully sweet ceremony, not to long, not too short. Everything you could want. I got to shoot from the balcony, which is always a favourite viewpoint of mine. Then it was time to make our way to the venue for the reception, HOUSE FOR AN ART LOVER! What a place, having never been there before, my mind was blown. Mingling coverage was never more fun, everyone looked amazing in the beautiful summer light, for portraits, we took a walk around the grounds, including the playground located behind the venue, where Laura & Robbie had a playful and romantic frolic which we worked around them, catching some crackers if I do say so myself! Dinner was a spectacular affair and extremely tasty, this lovely couple ordered food for us two and we sat in the sun room backing up files and enjoying the view. Soon after this came the dancing, oh how they knew how to party, I had all the fun in the world, going from the downstairs reception room where the band played and outside where people were chating, drinking and enjoying the evening sun. This was a late one for me, because even after all of that, Laura & Robbie still had one surprise in store for their guests. A fireworks display! Working hard to capture both the couple and the fireworks in one sharp image, I was delighted with the results, as were they when a sneak peak was delivered to them the day after. Overall, one of they most fabulous Glasgow weddings I've every experienced. Get married here and please hire me!
